Secretary’s Report - not posted as yet

Financial Report: approved: $556.45 in checking on 9/30/12; $7737.38 in savings on 9/30/12

Committee Reports

Membership – 31 pd members as of 10/8/12. Another dues reminder will go out.

Old Business

Shift of accounting to Chamber umbrella – now that the bylaws have been revised and the Chamber board has approved the shift, LBMAA needs to complete the transition:

Close bank account
Modify budget to reflect the Chamber’s budget year (calendar year)
Set up a meeting between treasurer and accounting staff

Scholarship for nonprofit participant in LBM – Gate City will sponsor again a scholarship for a LBM participant who is from a nonprofit

Other Business

Silent Auction – donation request lists were distributed. A notice in Chamberlink and an email to LBMAA members will go out requesting items for the silent auction.

Meeting adjourned. Next meeting is the LBMAA Annual Meeting on Monday, November 12, at noon at the Chamber.
