Secretary’s Report - May and June approved (m/s Bird/Bjornson)
Financial Report: May approved: $1002.80 in checking on 5/31/12; $7736.07 in savings on 5/31/12

- June 20th Traffic Update – 25 attendees, well received
- September 19 will be annual meeting and BBQ social
Old Business
- LBMAA tax consequences – will need to rewrite bylaws to reflect shift. Seek assistance from LBMAA member Jeff Vogel was suggested.
- Board vacancy – Marnie Piehl has stepped off of the board. Since the annual meeting is impending, the open position will be filled by the general membership, rather than appointed by the board. Susie will email the membership at large to gauge interest in the vacancy.
- Class Rep – bylaws indicate that a class rep should be selected from and by the most current class. Susie will email the most recent class to see who is interested in the role and will conduct an election if necessary.

ALP Training Report – Tonya Schlaht
- Most programs doing a youth program
- Should we consider doing a mentorship program with YP?
- Much of the training focused on Greenleaf Servant Leadership principles
- We need to utilize a blind selection process
- Saw a pre/post member survey that could help demonstrate impact of LBM experience
- Saw a survey used with graduates to measure impact on community
- Winter conference is in San Diego
Meeting adjourned. Next meeting is August 13, 2012 at noon at the Chamber. Committee members are welcome to attend.
