President Greg Ellwein thanked the 2010/2011 Committee members:
Alicia Berger, Brad Krogstad, Tami Emter, Wes Engbrecht, Nancy Willis, Paula Redmann and board members!
Due to the cycles of board member terms and the appointment of the 2011 class representative
to the board, no election is required at this time.
The 2011-2012 President, Tonya Schlaht, was introduced. Schlaht shared several new initiatives and ideas for the coming year:
• Leadership book club – beginning with a Mastermind group led by LBMAA member David Leingang; group launches on Oct 5 and will be meeting weekly at NISC to explore The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by Maxwell.
• Consideration of establishing a mentorship program in partnership with the YP
• Participation in the webinars provided by the National Leadership Assocation
• Members are encouraged to share their ideas to refresh LBMAA just as we have with LBM.
2011/2012 Leadership Class and Members introduced themselves.
