Thank you letters have been sent out.

Miscellaneous Business:

Treva collected payments for the graduation luncheon, those not in attendance are asked to bring payment to the graduation or the next board meeting.

Calendar of events is tabled until Robin is in attendance.

Leadership Conference- Treva and Greg will get registered today after the meeting and submit bills to Tami for reimbursement.

Treva will pick up the Distinquished Alumni Award.

We will be adding one graduate as their class representative to the board.  Susie will contact the class to see who they would like to represent them and if that person accepts.  The person selected will technically start as a voting member in September but may be asked to sit in on meetings, prior, to acquaint themselves with the format and the organization.

Mentor Program- we discussed the Leadership Class request for a mentorship program to help them get involved or at least point them in the right direction for involvement in local clubs.  We discussed all board members compiling a list of organizations they are currently involved in.  We also discussed contacting the United Way to inquire to its members about who might be interested in having the Leadership Graduates get involved in any any of their member organizations.  Jason also suggested the Membership Committee consider compiling a list of local organizations and contacts and help coordinate this information to the Leadership Class annually.  We might even consider having a contact person from each organization come in during one of their sessions and give a 5 minute introduction to their organizations mission statemment and who their contact person is each year.  This will put the tools in the hands of the graduates to take their involvement and their specific interests into their own hands with a little direction.  Susie will follow-up with an e-mail to the graduates, once she hear’s back, from the United Way contact person.

Next meeting – April 12 at noon, Chamber office Meeting

Meeting adjourned at 1:00pm  ;jk
