Present:  Chad Bjornson, Jason Kirchmeier, Joel Bird, Treva Beard, Paula Graner, Tami Emter, Robin Thorstenson, Susie Kocouerk

Secretary’s Report – approved (m/s  Graner/Beard)

Treasurer’s Report  - approved as read

                Checking  $2250.39

                Savings  $6089.29

                Membership at 72

Committee Reports

Membership  - Greg Ellwein and Joel Bird

Social Events  - Jason Kirchmeier will chair

Training & Development – Paula Redman and Robin Thorstenson

Communications – still seeking chair

Silent Auction – Paula Graner

Discussion: 

·         Donation list will be updated

·         Announcements will be posted

·         Everyone was encouraged to secure donations  as soon as possible

OLD BUSINESS

501(c)3  Status

Discussion:

·         Benefits of securing tax exemption

·         What is required to maintain status

·         Limitations of status

Action/Decision

                After discussion, the board determined that the maintenance exceeded the benefits of status.

                Board voted not to proceed.

Wine Tasting Event  -     19 registered to date.
