Financial Report: July approved: $629.77 in checking on 7/31/12; $7736.72 in savings on 7/31/12

Committee Reports

Membership – discussed the need to have class reps contact their classes and the need to reach out again to new graduates after graduation.

Social Events/Training & Development – reviewed upcoming activities on calendar

LBMAA Bd Meeting (9/19)
Chamber Holiday Mixer (12/11)
Looking to host a local issues or a healthcare panel in January or February

Communications & Public Relations – no report

Old Business

LBMAA tax consequences –will be proposing a bylaws change at the annual meeting
Annual Meeting – will need ballots prepared for election to fill vacancy.

Website domain name renewal – expires on 9/18/12 – 5 year renewal approved (m/s Bird/Thorstenson)

Meeting adjourned. Next meeting is the LBMAA Annual Meeting on Wednesday, September 19, at 4:30pm for the board meeting and at 5:00pm for the annual meeting, at the Chamber.
